Shut the main valve
For water: the main shut-off is usually at the street side of the house or by the water heater. Clockwise until it stops.
Kill power to wet areas
Flip the breakers for any room with standing water. Don't touch outlets or switches that are wet.
Move what's dry
Lift what you can to higher ground. Don't lift soaked rugs or furniture — they're heavier than they look, and we'll handle them.
